BELIEVE it or Leave it.

You are passionate about something, you have got a vision and you can see yourself being successful at it, that’s the exact unfortunate time when people hop in. Now they might not have the same vision or the same perspective. And most of the time they’ll be stubborn and try to not understand your perspective. Or they are not that open-minded enough to understand it. And trust me; such people don’t want to be wrong so they’ll try their best to talk you out of it.

They bring in pessimism because if you notice they’ll mostly tell you all the drawbacks and the negative points if you choose to go down that path you envision. They question everything you have planned and then answer it themselves by considering the most “realistic view” of it and eventually get you all demotivated.

So when you have goals just keep them to yourself. Don’t go telling people and asking opinions because you know too many cooks spoil the broth. See, you know yourself better than anyone, so you don’t really need any opinions.

But now, this is the tricky part. There are going to be situations when you’ll be asked about your goal or your plans and you just simply can’t avoid it. Hence, keeping it to yourself may not completely work and in such situations, you need to have a strong belief in what you wish to pursue. Don’t be vulnerable and get talked out of it. If you do then realize that you were never passionate about it.

 Why is believing so important?

Not everybody is your friend and not everyone wishes all success for you. We got people who are envious, got a jealous bone or just simply got a very pessimistic personality. And you don’t get to know who is who until it’s a bit late and they’ve already got into your head.

Well, you want to get financial freedom so you don’t have to depend on someone else for money, right?  Same way, Believing is like being mentally independent. When you start believing in yourself you develop an attitude where it doesn’t matter if you are accepted or allowed, because as long as it makes sense to you, you know you are going to do it. If you have a strong belief in your goals and your plans, you are less likely to be vulnerable and it’s hard to crack you open and pull you down.

What happens when you don’t care to believe?

Well some of us have that attitude right, “who cares?” “What difference does it make?" Well, allow me to explain. See when you don’t strongly believe it, you leave it. Leave it in the hands of others. Someone will tell you one thing and you’ll follow that while someone else will say something different leading you in a different direction and by the time you realize it’ll be too late and you’ll be stuck at a job or something which wasn’t actually your major interest.

“Don’t let temporary people make permanent changes in your life.”(MOO Point)

Also, a lack of belief is going to lead to lacking confidence. And if you don’t have that, life could get pretty difficult.

Don’t question it!

Even if you are strong and you believe in yourself, there are times when you could be a bit low and people might end up getting into your head and questioning you, leading to you questioning yourselves. And sooner or later questioning is going to lead you into the “maybe” zone.  And let me tell you, maybe means no. Maybe I’ll do it. I think I’ll do it. Should I really do it? See that’s how it goes.

You either believe it or Leave it. Don’t question it. Because questioning it is going to determine the result (which 90% of the time would be the latter i.e. not going for it). But, the result is going to come after wasting a lot of time in the maybe zone.

So believe in yourself, so that you can use the freedom of choice to the fullest.
