Why so REPETITVE?
To remember
stuff we do have our memory, right? But it's not enough! So the concept of Repetition comes to light. When we were
kids, we were made to repeat stuff to make us learn. For example, tables,
alphabets, etc.
That's how our mind functions. Repetition makes us memorize stuff. Repetition is how we were taught ALMOST EVERYTHING. For instance, the Pythagoras theorem was taught for almost 4 years. The figure of speech and parts of speech is taught for more than 7 years (starting from 5th grade till as late as 12th grade). Whatever knowledge you possessed are some things that you have re-read or re-acted or simply repeated. This answers your question about why are examinations conducted? They don’t want to classify you according to your marks, all they want you is to re-read what you have learned.
Sometimes
your siblings/friends say something to tease you and they say it so many times
that there comes a moment when you feel like, “maybe I'm like that.”
Also, the reason why people surrounding you should be the people you want to be with, NECESSARY!
Because the environment, the energy, the mindset all remains the same or you
can say is “REPEATED” daily. And
repetition gets in your head.
Repetition can
also, make you BELIEVE, that may or
may not be true.
(The concept repetition not the exact
replica of the sentence, although it can work too)
A salesman, a politician, or a lawyer:
if you observe these
people they master this technique. They repeat sentences to create an impact
and your brain eventually ends up believing them.
Till date,
we have learned so much using this concept but have we learned how to use this
concept?
Dr. Masaru Emoto
was a Japanese businessman, author, and pseudo-scientist who claimed that human
consciousness can affect the molecular structure of water.
He carried
out an experiment where he REPEATEDLY
used positive words and appreciated
the water in glass A while he cursed
or in other words, he talked negatively to the water in glass B. He
carried this experiment for a couple of weeks and the result was that the water
in glass A remained crystal clear while the water in glass B turned foul.
He also
carried out the same experiment with rice and the results were as below.
So now it’s
up to you. Now you decide how you want to talk about yourself, how you want to
introduce yourself, and what things you repeatedly want to say about yourself. YOU BECOME WHAT YOU SAY. Probably why the tongue is the strongest weapon.
So repeatedly saying positive things about
yourself can actually help you.
Your brain
is simple. What you CONSISTENTLY feed
will GROW. You CONSISTENTLY feed your brain with loads of crap you'll end up
crappy. The people who are close to you also UNKNOWINGLY feed your brain. So if you are around some dumbasses, it’s
time to move.
Consistency or repetition is how you control; what you store; in your BRAIN!
